At SCA, summer camp is more than just fun—it’s a place where kids can dive into hands-on adventures, make new friends, and feel like they truly belong. Our small, welcoming environment gives campers the space to shine—whether they’re outgoing, curious, creative, or all of the above. With a mix of art, science, games, and weekly themes, each day brings something fresh to explore and gets kids excited to come back for more.
Flexible Camp Schedule
We know summer isn’t one-size-fits-all—that’s why our camp is built with flexibility in mind. Whether your family needs a full summer of care or just a few weeks of fun, we make it easy to mix and match.
Sonder Creek Summer Camp offers both full-day and half-day programs, Monday through Friday.
- Camp Hours:
- Drop off – 9:00 AM
- Pick-up 3:45 – 4:00 PM*
- Location: 860 Bancroft Road in Walnut Creek.
- Early Care: Available starting at 8:00 AM
- Aftercare: Extended pick-up available until 5:00 PM
You can register for one week or all nine—it’s completely up to you. Our small, welcoming environment means your child will feel right at home while exploring exciting activities, building friendships, and trying something new each day.
*Children picked up after 4:00 PM will be subject to the after care fee of $20.

(AM or PM activities only)
Choose either a morning or afternoon session for a focused, fun camp experience.

Our 10-week summer camp is packed with excitement—and designed with flexibility in mind. Families can choose the weeks that work best for them, with new themes and adventures each session. From hands-on STEM experiments and beginner coding to water play, creative arts, team sports, music, and game room fun, every week offers something fresh, active, and inspiring.

Camp Guidelines & Requirements
- All campers are to bring a labeled bag or backpack.
- Campers will need a packed lunch, labeled water/drink bottle and two snacks per day (Please no glass).
- Please apply sunscreen before arrival, we will provide our sunscreen before and after water play daily for extra safety.
- Swimsuit, towel, sandals and or flip flops are required for our water activities. Students are welcome to arrive in bathing suits if desired but changing rooms are available.
- Toys, Playing / Trading Cards are permitted but brought at your own risk.
- Spray bottles and small portable fans are fine to bring as well.
- Please label all personal items.
- Snow cones and otter pops (frozen treats) are given as extra snacks often, if you do not wish your child to partake please let us know prior to camp arrival.
- Extra change of clothes for our Kindergarten and First Grade friends please.
