Admissions Process

 

We look forward to meeting new students and families and we encourage you to get to know us via our Information Sessions or Private Tours.

Information Sessions: 

These are public events where you get an opportunity to meet administrators and teachers, and get to know more about Sonder Creek Academy.  Information Sessions are available in person only. These are optional events that are not required before you apply.

Private Tours:

These are in person tours with the Head of School, at your child’s future campus: JK-1st, 2nd-4th, or 5th-8th.  Private Tours are required, and preferably occur prior to completing your Application. 

SCHEDULE A TOUR

After completing a Private Tour, apply by submitting the completed Application, by emailing required forms, and mailing the non-refundable application fee.  The Application is due January 12, 2024.

After reviewing your completed application, we will reach out to you to schedule your applicant’s Half-Day Shadow Experience. Applicants will have the opportunity to experience SCA and to attend class with their potential schoolmates.

We will announce all Admissions Decisions: February 16, 2024. 

The Enrollment Decision Deadline is February 23, 2024. This is for prospective families to provide your deposit and return your signed enrollment contract.

Rolling Admissions: We will continue to accept applications after January 15th and will admit students on a rolling basis pending class availability.

After attending your private tour, complete the application and submit all required forms and fees:

 

  • SUBMIT:  2024 – 2025 Application (Available after completing a Private Tour) 
  • SUBMIT:  Teacher Recommendation 
  • EMAIL:  Current Year’s Report Card 
  • MAIL:  Non-Refundable $100 Application Fee 
    • Check payable to “Sonder Creek Academy”
    • Write your student’s name in the memo line
    • Mail to PO Box:

Applications to Sonder Creek Academy for the 2024-2025 school year are due on January 12, 2024. All applications received prior to January 12th will be treated equally.
