Attend an information session
Information Sessions are the best way to hear from some of the teachers who make Sonder special. Each session features a mix of teachers from across our grades and subjects, eager to share more about their classes and after-school activities. These sessions are for parents only and take place at one of our three campus locations.

Experience Sonder Creek Academy firsthand with a guided tour designed for parents and guardians. Explore our campus, see our classrooms in action, and learn more about our unique approach to education. This is a great opportunity to ask one-on-one questions with our team and discover what makes SCA a special place for your child’s learning journey.
A link to schedule a Campus Tour will be provided at the Info Session. Campus tours are optional and families may choose to apply after attending an Info Session.

Get To Know Us
- Attend an Info Session to learn more about our program across Kindergarten – 8th grade.
- If you like, join us for a Campus Tour at the campus your student may be attending. Campus tours are optional, but they are the best way to see the school in action.

Apply
- Submit an application for each student.
- Send us report cards for the current year, if received, and the full report card for the prior year. We understand that students applying for Kindergarten may not have report cards.
- Provide us the contact information for a teacher recommendation. We will email the teacher directly, and they will have two weeks to complete.
- Pay the non-refundable $100 application fee. Instructions are included in the application.

Student Shadow Days: January – March, 2026
Decision Notifications: by March 10th, 2026

Shadow Day
Once your application is received, we’ll contact you to schedule a Shadow Day (or class visit). Shadow Days allow your child to experience a mix of academics and social activities with their potential future classmates.
For students applying by January 10th, Shadow Days are held in January – March, with admissions decisions communicated by March 10, 2026. For students applying during Rolling Admissions, Shadow Days are held throughout the year, with admissions decisions communicated within two weeks.

Sonder Creek Academy is an inclusive community that is meant to be accessible to a broad range of families and promising students. To further support this goal, we are pleased to offer a modified tuition option.
- We encourage you to apply to SCA prior to applying for SSS.
- Applying for modified tuition will not impact admissions decisions. We have partnered with a third party provider, School and Student Services (SSS), to help process modified tuition applications.
- In addition to completing the application steps shown above, to apply for modified tuition please use the SSS program portal button below. On this SSS site you will create an account, be prompted to provide certain information and upload financial documents as well. SSS utilizes this information to help determine a potential modified tuition amount.
- We do not want our application fee or the SSS processing fee to be a barrier to applying. Please let us know if you have any concerns.
